Opting out of our scan
Please contact us at the address below. The only information we absolutely require is the network range that you would like to have excluded from our scans and the port number(s) in question (a list or simply all). If the latter information is not provided, our default is to exclude your systems for the protocol scan that corresponds to the time of your email. An entry on our blocklist expires after one year. If you wish to indicate a longer duration, please specify this, too (also see below for blocking our IP ranges entirely).
We would, however, appreciate it if you can provide us with some additional information, for example as listed below. We will not pass on any personal data to any other party. However, there is an entire community doing Internet measurement in an effort to improve the ecosystem, and we are always working on improving our processes to avoid interfering with other systems as much as possible. Your information will help us.- the name of your organization and a point of contact
- for how long you do not want your IP range to be scanned
- reason to be excluded from the scans
- when you observed our scan
Please send your opt-out request to this address: [email protected]
Blocking our scans
Instead of opting out of our scans (see above), you can also block the IP address range from which we scan. Note that these may change from time to time. The current IP addresses are: 145.90.8.8, 145.90.8.9, 145.90.8.10, and 192.87.173.73. We'd appreciate it if you let us know of this at [email protected] as the community learns from it, but there is no expectation, of course.
